BRAKING LIQUID

Brake fluid is intended for use in automotive hydraulic brake systems operating at ambient temperatures between – 50 ° C and +50 ° C. It is a heat-resistant fluid designed to protect the interior
brake part against corrosion, it does not chemically change its properties even at high temperatures change. Brake fluids are usually based on glycol or silicone. These two materials
do not fit together, so it is essential to know what brake fluid you are using before topping up. DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1 is used for cars, trucks, DOT 5 is more often used for military machinery and sports cars and motorcycles that require higher boiling temperature.

Brake fluid produced by UAB Greenlab Solutions is manufactured in accordance with the requirements set by several internationally recognized standards organizations.

• The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) in the USA classifies three main classes of brake fluids according to FMVSS 116.

These categories are DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5. DOT 5, hereinafter referred to as DOT 5 – silicone
based brake fluid (SBBF) or DOT 5.1 – non – silicone-based.

• The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) classifies several other classes of brake fluids according to ISO Document 4925: Class 3, Class 4, Class 5.1, and Class 6.

• The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) classifies the other three types: SAE J1703, SAE J1704, and SAE J1705.

Ltd. Greenlab Solutions can offer DOT3, DOT4, DOT5.1 and DOT4LV type brake fluids.

According to the customer’s request, the products can be bottled in IBC containers, 200 liter barrels or packed in small-capacity packagings, such as 0.5 liter bottle, 1 liter bottle, 4/5/10/25 liter canisters.
